We encourage original research, either built on primary sources or engaging a historiographic debate, and the essays should reflect the highest standards of scholarly research and writing.
Entries must be typed, double-spaced, and range from 8-25 pages.
In addition to Chicago Style citations, include your name, email address, and the course for which the essay was written.
Finally, you must include a short (1-2 paragraph) abstract of the paper, explaining its central argument, method, and primary sources.
